Biography

For more than three decades, John Stanford has been a champion of Californians who have suffered personal injuries for which someone else was at fault. In cases arising from car accidents, falls, medical malpractice and other forms of negligence, he refuses to let defendants and their insurance companies evade their legal responsibility.

Equally adept during settlement negotiations and at trial, he has secured exceptional results for a diverse group of clients. This includes an $8 million verdict for a client paralyzed in a truck accident and a $5 million wrongful death settlement following a doctor’s failure to recognize breast cancer symptoms.

Beyond his work at the firm, John gives seminars on personal injury issues for numerous local bar associations and community groups. He also serves as a member of the Pasadena Prep board of trustees.

He lives in Manhattan Beach with his wife and two children, and enjoys spending his free time playing baseball, sailing and reading.
